Crossraguel Abbey in the snow.
Passed it by chance, but thought it worth a frozen finger or two (won’t mention the toes!) for a short video session.
The Abbey of Saint Mary of Crossrague founded by the Earl of Carrick in the 13th century. It remained a monastery till 1560 and the Reformation.
Located on the A77, near Maybole – midway between Ayr and Girvin.
